Toyota-sponsored Paralympic athlete Amy Purdy recently helped call attention to mobility solutions on display at the Toyota Plaza at Morgan’s Wonderland, a San Antonio theme park for people with special needs.

Money isn’t everything. But in the crusade to raise awareness about the needs of the physically challenged, it sure can come in handy.
To that end, Toyota — the only automaker to offer a factory-built access minivan—recently deployed Toyota-sponsored Paralympic athlete Amy Purdy to help promote “Free to Soar,” a gala/fundraiser held at Morgan’s Wonderland.
The world’s first theme park custom-built for individuals with special needs was carved out of an abandoned quarry in northeast San Antonio. Gordon and Maggie Hartman founded it in 2010, inspired by their daughter Morgan’s perseverance amid physical and cognitive challenges.
Toyota Mobility has committed to a multi-year sponsorship of this “shrine of inclusion, oasis of friendship and unforgettable wonderland” as described on the park’s website. This includes Toyota Plaza, where Toyota mobility solutions are on prominent display for the park’s guests.
